About the Event
The festival showcases some of the finest examples of African American quilts and other fiber art across the genres including traditional, art, modern and African American Heritage styles.
Exhibition:
The quilt show will feature more than 100 quilts predominantly by African American quilters.
Juried exhibits will be featured in 4 categories:
- traditional quilts
- art quilts
- modern quilts
- African American heritage quilts
Learning:
The event has workshops and trunkshows. Updates on 2024 events are expected to be up soon. The 2023 event had more than 10 learning sessions available.
