Quilt Canada 2023

Quilt Canada is an annual quilt festival organised by the Canadian Quilters’ Association/Association Canadienne De La Courtepointe.

The event location changes every year and in 2023 it will be in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The event will have 

• Juried Quilt Show & Quilt Challenges
• Workshops & Lectures
• Shopping

Entry fee to the event will be around CAD 25.00 + tax.

Quilt Show Competition - Juried show and Challenges

1. Registrations will be open between 3, Jan to 17 Feb, 2023. 
2. The show is open to all Canadian citizens, permanent residents non-Canandians residents who are members of CQA/ACC. 
3. Standard entry fee is CAD 85. 
4. There are 4 challenges available for quilters to participate including the TrendTex 2023 quilt challenge themed "Making Waves".
5. The new category for the competition is Award of Excellence for Sustainability.

Workshops will be taught by 12 renowned quilters and 8 experts will be delivering the lectures. Check the faculty list here.

Special events: Opening and Award Ceremony will be held on the evening of June 7, 2023.
